The top seeded Mounties proved no match for the 5th seeded Spring Mills Braves in game 1, invoking the 10 run rule, and beating Spring Mills 14 -0 in 5 innings.  Clarence scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st, with Ryan MacNamara driving in Bryce Greene with an RBI triple for the first run of the game.  The Mounties would plate two more runs in the 1st, and would put two on the board in the 2nd.  In a 3rd inning that would see 12 Mounties come to the plate, the home team would add 9 runs on 7 hits.  Brian Kochik had a single, and a 2 run homer in the frame to pace the Mounties at the plate during the 3rd inning.  Clarence pitcher Justin Koleno gave up one hit in the top of the 3rd , while striking out 5 and walking 3, for his 7th win of the season.  Clarence 2B Bryce Greene extended his hitting streak to 17 games.  Clarence takes a 1-0 lead in the best of 5 series, with game 2 heading to Spring Mills on Tuesday at 6PM.
