Top Hitters Philipsburg      Parker Watson (3 singles)

Top Hitters Pleasant Gap      Tyler Lalli (double and single)

Philipsburg Broke open the game in the 4th inning plating 5 runs by taking advantage of extra outs and free bases.  In the inning there were 2 walks issued and a Hit By Pitch coupled with 2 errors, the Pirates only needed 2 singles in the inning to push across 4 of their 5 runs in the frame a 2 run single by Parker Watson and a 2 run single by Robbie Smith.  With the game decided the Pirate offense once again jumped on opportunities using only 2 singles to push across the final 4 runs needed to send everyone home early.

The Peppers looked poised early to make a game of it when Kevin Tate singled and was moved to second on one of Tyler Lalli’s 2 hits but they would get no closer in the inning.  Lalli would later lead off an inning with a double only to be stranded at 3rd.
